Course Content and Structure

This is a competence-based qualification assessed through a portfolio of evidence, including observed teaching practice. To achieve the Level 4 Certificate, you will complete 36 credits across mandatory and optional units covering teaching theory, practical delivery, and assessment skills.

You will need to complete a minimum number of teaching practice hours as part of this qualification, observed by a qualified assessor.

How You’ll Be Assessed

You’ll build a portfolio of evidence demonstrating your competence. This evidence will be assessed by a fully qualified and occupationally competent coach or assessor through:

Virtual or one-to-one coaching sessions
Flexible delivery tailored to your needs and work schedule
Regular feedback and guidance to support your progress

Your portfolio will be internally quality assured and externally certified by Innovate Awarding.
