Course Content and Structure

This is a competence-based qualification assessed through a portfolio of workplace evidence. To achieve the CAVA, you will complete 15 credits across 3 mandatory units covering assessment principles, workplace assessment, and training environment assessment.

All evidence is drawn from your real assessment practice across both workplace and training settings.

How You’ll Be Assessed

You’ll build a portfolio of evidence demonstrating your competence. This evidence will be assessed by a fully qualified and occupationally competent coach or assessor through:

Virtual or one-to-one coaching sessions
Flexible delivery tailored to your needs and work schedule
Regular feedback and guidance to support your progress

Your portfolio will be internally quality assured and externally certified by Innovate Awarding.
