This qualification provides you with practical skills for supporting learning in schools, including:

Course Content and Structure

This is a competence-based qualification assessed in a school or educational setting. To achieve the Level 2 Certificate, you will complete 30 credits across mandatory and optional units, building a portfolio of evidence from your work supporting teaching and learning.

You will need to be working or volunteering in a school or educational setting to complete this qualification.

How You’ll Be Assessed

You’ll build a portfolio of evidence demonstrating your competence. This evidence will be assessed by a fully qualified and occupationally competent coach or assessor through:

  • Virtual or one-to-one coaching sessions
  • Flexible delivery tailored to your needs and work schedule
  • Regular feedback and guidance to support your progress

Your portfolio will be internally quality assured and externally certified by Innovate Awarding.
